| The cointegration analysis and a vector error-correction (VEC) model are applied to examine the short- and long-run relationships among foreign direct investment (FDI), economic growth, and the environment in China and India. The results show that FDI inflow plays a pivotal role in determining the short- and long-run movement of economic growth through capital accumulation and technical spillovers in the two countries. However, FDI inflow in both countries is found to have a detrimental effect on environmental quality in both the short- and long-run, supporting pollution haven hypothesis. | Previous work in experimental economics reveals specific differences in economic behavior, especially reciprocity and free-riding behavior, across cultures. We expand the possible pallet of cross-cultural behavioral differences that may exist. We hypothesize that different kinds of strategic interaction and individual decision-making behaviors differ across locations. The variety of experiments we use allow us to report multidimensional rather than just single dimensional differences in behavior across locations. | ABSTRACT A new saurolophine hadrosaurid, Laiyangosaurus youngi gen. et sp. nov. is described and phylogenetically analyzed based on several cranial elements from the Jingangkou Formation, Wangshi Group, Upper Cretaceous of Laiyang, Shandong, China. The milestone of Chinese organic agri-culture was set in 1990 with the first export of a certified organic product (tea) from Lin’an county of Zhejiang Province, China, which marked the launch of organic pro-duction in China. By the end of 2005, there had been about 4.384 million ha organic land, including 1.694 million ha organic, 0.61 million ha conversion as well as 2.08 million ha collection area, about half of which is certified area. | According to the related data affecting the peasants’ income in China in the years 1978-2008, a total of 13 indices are selected, such as agricultural population, output value of primary industry, and rural employees. According to standardized method and BP neural network method, the peasants’ income and the artificial neural network model are established and analyzed. Results show that the simulation value agrees well with the real value; the neural network model with improved BP algorithm has high prediction accuracy, rapid convergence rate and good generalization ability. | A total of 10 indices of regional economic development in Guangxi are selected. According to the relevant economic data, regional economic development in Guangxi City is analyzed by using System Clustering Method and Principal Component Analysis Method.
